Missed Anniversary!

That is right!! I missed an all important anniversary!! On Wednesday September 27, 2006... I should have celebrated the 1 year anniversary of my blog!!! A year ago this month I started blogging and it seems that I am officially addicted to the whole thing. Thank you Sally, Sam and Keelee for dragging me to the dark side 1 year ago!

Thanks to everyone who stops by for reading, commenting, and hopefully enjoying along the way.

thank you thank you!!!

Look what the boys got in the mail!!! How AWESOME!! A Big Thank you to Sam, Brian and Nolan for sending this super fun gift!! They are having a blast with it as you can see from the pics. What a great idea! Thank you again so much for thinking of them.

You know this made me think of something I heard some one mention at my last church meeting. A mother with grown children who has 4 boys said that every year after Christmas Eve mass Santa would bring a "sharing gift to the boys". They would get the gift with a letter from Santa explaining that they had to share it with thier brothers. I thought that this was such an adorable idea and I told her that I would be stealing it. It is great for big gifts that they can both get lots of use out of and even better play together.

Sorry the blog was pretty slacking this week. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. The temporary job that I am working ends tomorrow but I do have an interview for another temporary job tomorrow as well ( that would start on Monday). I also recieved a call from someone about a "real job" and I should have an interview next week for that. So, someday I will have a job and hopefully access to my blog....hum maybe I should start asking that in the interviews.

Okay off to hang with the hubby a bit...he had a SUPER LONG day at work and just got home...poor guy!

Thanks for checking in on us...

DAMN DVR

So I am enjoying life watching the hands down BEST show on television. I am loving life, fast forwarding through the commercials. I am thinking I am so special just adoring my DVR when it happened. The end of the show cut off.... that is Dr. SO and SO walked out of the bathroom with the towel and that was it.... no credits.... no "scenes form the next" nothing....so if someone could tell me what I missed I would forever be in your debt. Damn that DVR!!!!!

Love that Greys's!!!

UW vs AFA

Of course we were on board to route for the blue and they pulled it off!!

Tanner sat through the whole game snuggling Sara. Tanner was after Brett's girlfriend from the car ride to the game. When Tanner said "Snuggle me too Sara". Then at the game Tanner sat with Sara and Brett and Sara told us later that Tanner told Brett..." look Brett go talk to one of those girls behind us" ( so he could have Sara all to himself). too funny!

As you can see by the pics...we bundled up snug and had a blast!!

:)

Busy weekend and football!!

Well we have had a busy weekend. Friday night Matt,Kim and Avery came over and we ate Taco soup and Tim made Apple cobbler in the dutch oven. Then Matt and Kim beat us in the game they brought....big time!!! It was a movie game. It was a great time though. We even had them sample Tim's homemade wine.

I kept saying I needed to remember to set up my fantasy team..and I never did! Dang it. There is no possible way that I can win...since my one running back is injured and the other has a bye week. I am so bummed. Not to mention I got a lecture from the commisioner of the league ( Tim) that he wouldn't have let me in the league has he known I would mismanage my team so blatently... ( do you think I will be fined????? ) Oh no!!

Yesterday we headed to Laramie for the Air Force vs. University of Wyoming game. I am happy to say that Air force won. I have not been to a college game since college but it was a blast. The weather was horrible!! We hung in there and even starting tailgating by about 11:45 am. We had brought the camper and mostly just Tim and Matt where outside braving the weather to cook our food.

Well it is a warmer day here then yesterday for sure. In Laramie it was cold and windy and yes SNOWY!!! I will post some pics in the next post.

Today we are just watching football and eating a nice Sunday dinner.

Thanks for stopping. Pics next!

Snow in the forecast!!

That is right...snow!! I thought that I might wake up to one to two inches on the ground but thankfully that has not happened just yet. :) But it is in the forecast...so it is on its way ug!! I always feel like we do not have enough summer here...that is for sure.

Wait it is thursday!!! I have to set up my fantasy football team!! That is right the hubby let me in! How fun... I even have some of my girls playing too..no matter what in my mind it is girls vs boys...cmon girls!!! :)

Okay better get moving. Here is a quick pic of Tanner this morning...you maybe able to see Evan playing in the background...

Have a great day!

Ready for fall

Here is a shot of Evan brushing his teeth for school this morning. Doesn't he look ready for fall? Well it is pretty chilly in the mornings here so we are off. A quick Evan tale. He now understands us VERY well for example if I hand him and ask him to throw something in the trash he will. That being said he has also taken to throwing lots of stuff in the trash like toys, bowls from my cabinet...you know pretty much anything and everything.

Okay gotta scadaddle...

Love to all

Tit for Tat

Well my friend Jenn asked me to resize some pics for her of her and her adorable girls. I told her that they may just have to end up on my blog because they are TOO cute.

So, here they are. My friend Jenn ( except she will always be Teeter to me) and Her daughters Kayla ( 4) and Madison ( almost 2) .

I wish we lived closer cause our kids are so close in age.... dang it!

I need a shirt to match

I need a shirt to match the boys because apparently I am doing my own stunts as well.
Here is a shot of my owie. I fell in the parking lot between church and CCD yesterday. I twisted my ankle in a ditch but the biggest affect is my knee. It mostly stinks because it is a bendable part and when it bends it rips open the scabs. Well I thought you all would get a chuckle out of my owie. The best part was Tanner told his CCD teacher..." my mom fell and her knee was bleeding and she threw my brother in the air". Well he made it sound like I threw Evan in anger when actually Evan went up and came down with me ( I was carrying Evan) . He was fine. He kind of looked at me like....hey why did ya do that? But all in all he was okay... no worse for the wear and no owie's at all.

Well that is my story du jour.

Thanks for checking on us...

Tammi and the boys.

.

matching shirts

Here is a quick pic of the boys this morning before school. Tim and I bought them these shirts...they say "I do all of my own stunts" just cause we thought that they were so cute and appropriate for these ruff and tumble boys.

Happy Monday!! Enjoy your day all and thanks for stopping by.

Love,

Tammi and the boys

P.S. of course baby sheep had to be in the picture..

Real update...

Well the truth is... I am working. Not a "real" job but a temporay job and I am loving waking up and getting dressed and interacting with adults everyday. So, that is why my blog has been slacking. Can you believe the company that I am working for has the nerve to block my blog??? "How sad somebody!!" I am hopeful that soon a real job will come through so that I can keep working. The kids are doing great with it. Tanner absolutely LOVES school. Anyway I will keep everyone posted on if I can find a real job and keep working.

In other news, I am also teaching CCD to the kindergartener's and it is a blast as well. Tanner is in CCD for the first time this year ( Pre-K) and his teachers say he is doing great. He is loving practicing his prayers. This is too funny though...he calls the Hail Mary.."the one with the fruit" and the Glory be ..the one about Shelby from my school ( because it is says " as it was in the beginning is not and every Shall be "( shelby)) Well he surely keeps us laughing.

Today Tim and Uncle Matt went down to Denver to watch the Broncos play and win over the Kansas City Chiefs...he said the seats were AWESOME! The boys and I headed to Billie's after church and watched the Eagles LOOSE to the darn Giants...ug!! Well the meatballs were yummy and the company is always great. Nice to have an Eagles group in this sea of Broncos fans.

Friday was Tim's last day of a 2 week leave and he and Tanner had a great day together. They went to breakfast, lunch, got haircuts and went to see a movie together....I think it was called "Everyone's Hero". Tim said it was cute. Tanner said that he was "skipping school" Apparently he heard that term on one of the shows on the Disney channel... we had to laugh and of course explain to him that he is not skipping school if he spends the day with us.

Okay well I know words on the blog are not well recieved so that is all I have for now... I will try to be better about updating... I promise.... and see below for a video and some pics I finally posted.

Thanks for checking in on us.

Much love,
Tammi and the boys!

Encouraging our hams...

Sad news today...

Today I got some horrible sad news of a good friend and a wonderful person. My friend Nancy was killed in a head on crash a few days ago. The picture above is a snap shot from my wedding with Nancy ( right) and Becca (left). Becca called me this morning with the awful news. Nancy was such a wonderful person. She was so warm and caring and just amazing. She has touched so many lives in both her work and with her genuine personality. She will surely be missed by every one who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Here is the link to the article that was in the newspaper.
http://www.thnt.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060915/NEWS/609150474/1001

I hate days of bad news. I was glad to reconnect with Becca again though...so sad that life allows us to loose touch with those we care about.

Hug your loved ones today. It is a cold yucky day here in Wyoming.... it is windy and Tim is making a beef stew in the dutch oven to warm us all up.

The day of rememberance

This day will always be a day that defined a generation. I,as everyone, will remember exactly where I was when I heard the horrifying news and watched the 2nd plane hit the World Trade Center live on television. It was a day spent with my heart in my throat. I could not contact my family because it was impossible to get a free line to the east coast ( we were stationed at Vandenburg AFB at the time). I have a very good friend who was there and trekked home over the bridge on foot with many others. I was so thankful to know that everyone I loved and held dear I was able to contact eventually; treasuring thier voices more then ever. It was a tragic day, one that made everyone feel unsafe, unsure and worried for the first time in our lives. Today, 5 years later I feel that we are getting some of that security back. I am glad that we take the time to be thankful for all of our firefighters, police officers, and military members and have a new appreciation for the sacrifices that they are willing to make as servants to the public and our country as a whole. The thing that gets me through the day five years later is HOPE... I have hope that we will continue to pull through this tragedy as a country united. I remember the days following the attacks when flags were impossible to find. Tim and I sat down and painted a flag on wood to have one in our front yard. The picture I chose for my post tonight is a picture of hope. I remember seeing this picture and you cannot help but think of the line in our national anthem.."but our flag was still there.."

As for all lost on this tragic day 5 years ago... we will remember... I will never forget. I know that there are so many families that have been ripped apart by this tragedy. God Bless America and all Americans.

The bathroom...

Now as most thing in our house it is hard to tell how great it looks unless you have gotten the "pleasure" of seeing it in person before. I have tried very hard to block people from our downstairs bathroom cause it was just that kind of place... but here are the after pics.

Tim did an AWESOME job.. and anyone is welcome to use it at anytime... :) :)

Way to go hunny!! I am sooooooooooooooooo impressed!!

The feel good movie of the year!!

I saw the best movie today!! Tim and I finished our hard work on the bathroom ( it looks sooooo good!) and we headed to a matinee today. We went to see Invincible and we both LOVED it!! It was the BEST movie I have seen in sooo long. Maybe it is because I love those Philadelphia Eagles...as we say E-A-G-L-E-S....EAGLES!!! Or because I consider south Philly home for a part of my heart.... My mom grew up there and I have a lot of family there... either way... I laughed, I cried... I just loved this movie! I will own this own as soon as it comes out of DVD..that is certain. Go see it if you can! I would like to think even if you are not an Eagles fan or an East coast native this film is worth the price of admission!!!

Football season is upon us.. and in that spirit...GO EAGLES!!!! Win, lose or draw I love ya...course I prefer win! :)

Thanks for checking in on us..... pics of the bathroom tomorrow.

P.S. I am so excited that family is posting...great to know that you are checking in on us!

who needs mommy....

When you have the best Daddy do you even need a mommy? Well this is a picture of Tanner with his "baby sheep" he is such a great daddy taking the BEST care of her and by the way her favorite color is purple...that is why she is wearing a purple shirt.

Little Evan is going through a MAJOR Daddy phase...he wants nothing to do with Mommy he wants Daddy to do everything, hold him, cuddle him, change him.... it is too weird for this Mama. Of course Daddy thinks that it is the best thing in the world.

So this Mommy is feeling pretty unneeded by my boys...but I know this too shall pass.

Yesterday Tanner started Pre K...he is technically a bit to young and won't start school for 2 years but I knew he would love it and he sure does. On that note Evan has his first day of daycare ( well in a very long time and as far as he can remember) they said he did good but he came home tired out. Mom and Dad took some time to enjoy our day together...we went to breakfast and did some shopping...but then it was back to work getting the house in tip top shape.... I am hoping to have some pics very soon.

Okay well we are getting to see a friend tonight who is now in Alabama so I will post some pics tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by.

Fudgesicles are YUMMY!

Here are some pics of Evan enjoying his first fudgesicle! Tanner had to get in one too with his construction hat Grandma and Grandpa sent him in the mail. Along with it was Evan's birthday present.. including these adorable pj's!!! Thanks for the goodies! It is always a nice edition to the weekend to have a package of goodies!! I love these jammas... Doesn't he clean up nice???

Okay that is the last post of the day!! I promise.

Tammi and the boys...

Like father like son...

Well Tim has been slaving away all day at the bathroom. I am sure it will look awesome as he always does such a great job with things. It is just turning into a much bigger project. Well he came upstairs for a quick visit and Tanner asked me for a visor. I did not think anything of it and then I noticed that Tanner had a visor and found a pencil to put in it just like Tim had. I had to laugh so hard...so I took Tanner down to the bathroom to take a shot of he and dad together in the mess that is the bathroom right now...

Had to share...more pics soon enough...

Have a great night....

Tammi and the boys.

thanks you so much!!

Thank you so much Matt and Kim for watching the boys on Saturday so that I could get a MUCH needed hair cut. :) You guys are the best!!!

Well we have had a weekend... nothing too exciting. We did venture down to the town of Windsor Colorado on Saturday. They had a Harvest Festival. I have to admit I had never heard of Windsor but it was a very cute town and we had fun. It was great to hang out with Kim, Matt, Avery and Beth...and of course Tim and the boys too. I snapped very few pics...but when I download them I will add them to the blog.

Today is a lazy day in fact Tanner fussed at me because I wanted him to wear "pajamas" actually it is sweatpants but he just doesn't get it at all. I just thought we would hang in and have a lazy day...except Tim of course who is working his tail off redoing our basement bathroom.... as usual it will be alot more work then he anticipated....poor guy!

Well that is all for now...lunch time!

:0)

Thanks for checking in I hope everyone is enjoying thier day off.

Kissing fish and slacking mom

Hey look what I caught on film...yes my kissing fish are finally kissing...soooo cute!!

I am sorry that I have been a blog slacker... ( especially to Sally I hate to disappoint you) But I have been a bit bummed about the job hunting ( that is really an understatment)....but I am hanging in there. Well I have not only slacked on the blog but as a mom to 2 I feel like I slack on the baby. I tell ya! For example, I have meant to get Evan a toothbrush for MONTHS...then I finally did and it sat unopened in the cabinet for WEEKS....well I have finally gotten better at taken care of those 6 precious choppers. He loves it and it is so hard to get the toothbrush away from him now. Here is a pic I snapped of him brushing the other day...

sorry about the slacking...really I am. We had a fun well needed family day today. Tim is on leave for 2 weeks sooooo... I have some videos to post...oh and 27 bottles of wine that Tim bottled today! More soon.

Take care and thanks for checking in on us...
