Todays adventures

Today's adventures! We took the boys and Abbey out to the lake. Here is the boats (blog) debut. Okay so we have nicknamed it the SS Turd. It is not much to look at but we have a blast on it. We went up spent some time on the boat, ate lunch, scoped out some new camping spots and headed home for dinner with Kim, Avery, Billie and Abbey.

Guess I have to mention the fire pics. It was crazy! We were in a cove area fishing and eating some lunch when we see this boat on fire. It looked like not too big of a deal a first... but before long there was not much left. Everyone got off safe and sound but it was quite a sight to see. Everyone on the lake was hanging out watching the show.

We have been trying to spend lots of time with friends. We have lots of good friends who are getting ready to say farewell. Tim and I have decided that we will continue to hold down the fort here for a while longer.

We are excited for camping and boating and exciting that summer is upon us. I got a lot of sun today... and as you can see I threw in another scary pic that I took of myself.

Thanks for stopping.

Much love to all...

We were so happy to be invited to share in a very special day for baby Reagan! She looked soooo beautiful. Afterwards we headed to Sam and Beth's for good food, drink and conversation what a great day! So, I didn't get the best shots but you get the idea.

Well last Sunday we had the Hlivko's and the Ludwicks over for dinner. The boys cooked and cleaned, the girls drank wine and the kids played!! All in all an about perfect day! Unfortunatly Tanner was spending lots of time with his neighborhood friends so not too many shots of him.
More pics to come... tomorrow. We did lots of flower shopping and I can't wait to show you how springy our porch looks...
Here are a few shots I stole from Kim's picture account. She is so much better at snapping pics then me. Will there be any pics when she moves??? I will get better I promise.

Love to All,

16? I knew the kid was awesome!

I hope that this is legible. This is a sheet that Tanner brought home for Mother's Day! Along with a flower that he planted from seeds. He was so excited for "Mommy's Day". I think the answers are pretty cute. I especially like the favorite food. Tim wrote in my card from the boys,"Have all the meat you want on us!" I think that is Tanner's favorite food for sure!
Anyway, I thought it might be good for a smile! Happy day to you all!
Gotta get this show on the road!
Much love,
Tammi and the boys!

Happy Mother's day!

Happy Mommy's day to me! A lot of my blog followers will be very happy to hear about my mother's day present from the boys... a new camera!! Yeah! This is a snap shot of the boys taken with the new camera shortly after I opened it! It is a Kodak Easy share! I love it! I was pretty suprised, I knew that we were thinking about one but I didn't think that we would be getting it this soon... so yippee!!
You may notice is the picture Evan looks naked...well actually, he is fresh from a shower. Yes they bathed before bed last night but Evan woke up with the " Mother of all dirty diapers" Luckily it was Mother's day so Tim handled that..... thanks Evan. :) I told that story for Angela's benefit... that will help the 30 seconds you thought about babies pass quickly...hee hee!
Lastly, take a look at my HORRIBLE bedroom furniture in the background. Yes I have gotten my husband to agree that we need a new bedroom set, it only took 6 years of marriage. That will be delivered Monday, goodbye old furniture! I will not miss you!
Happy Mother's Day to all of my fellow mothers! Enjoy your day!
:)
Love to all! Tammi and the boys!

So much for Karma....

Well about a month and a half ago I went on a girls shopping day with my friend Billie. While I am on my spree I get a call from Tim.... "I just hit a car in the parking lot of Hollywood video". So, Tim backed into someone accidentally. He got the boys out of the car and went and searched Hollywood Video for the owner of the vehicle. Well, he talked to the guy. The guy said he would get in looked at and call Tim with the amount of the repairs.. He called last week with a fair price. Well on Friday my car was parked in the parking lot of the North branch ( by the mall) . Someone hit my new car square in the front. They did a good bit of damage. They did not tell me. In fact another customer saw what happened and jotted down a license plate. When the cops arrived I gave that information to him and he said without a vehicle discription or anything it is pretty much worthless. I guess that there is still a sliver of hope...BUT it is doubtful. So my new car, smashed. one month to the day old since the day I got it! And the license plates arrived yesterday.

Okay so I was a bit whiney! I mean all in all it is just a car... it just matters that we are safe abd sound. But it sure would be nice if someone would have just come forward, I guess maybe what Karma means is that ...the drivers of the car that hit and ran will have thier Karma come back on them.

In other news...Tanner's testing went well. He did great! We learned lots of neat tricks to get all that is going on with him under control. We are hopeful that we have the tools to help him address this stuff. I am so excited about that. He has some more presciptions to take, but all in all I think that it will be a wonderful thing.... Follow up in one month! Thanks to everyone for the emails and thinking of him.

Allergy testing

This weekend we are headed to Denver for some skin allergy testing for Tanner Lee. I am so excited about this visit. He has struggled so much with his allergies and excema since he was a baby and I am soooo excited to be taking this problem to the next level.

He may look like the picture above...but he will be being treated at an awesome hospital. They really are the best at what they do.

Here is a blurb from thier website
:

National Jewish Medical and Research Center is known worldwide for treatment of patients with respiratory, immune and allergic disorders, and for groundbreaking medical research. Founded in 1899 as a nonsectarian, nonprofit hospital, National Jewish remains the only facility in the world dedicated exclusively to these disorders.
For 9 consecutive years, U.S. News & World Report has ranked National Jewish the #1 respiratory hospital in the nation.
Scholarly publisher Thomson Scientific has ranked National Jewish among the 25 most influential research institutions in the world in its areas of focus.

This has been a struggle and I so hoping that this will give us some answers to get these things under control for Tanner.

It is suppossed to be an amazing weekend! I am hoping after the testing we will head to the zoo or somewhere fun in Denver for the boys. I will keep you all posted of where the weekend brings us...

Oh an Happy mother's day to all my fellow mothers!! Take time for you!

Love to all!

I will keep you all posted!!

Thanks for stopping by!

I feel safe!

To friends and family back home,

In light of the recent events at Fort Dix... I feel safe! I know that Tim and I were in your thoughts since we live on a military base. It did get my attention since that is where Tim was stationed when I met him and it is so close to home. Thank God this threat was caught BEFORE any lives were lost. It is always a good reminder to keep us on our toes in America, it could happen again. I am very thankful that we have not let our guard down. Thanks again for thinking of us! Love to all!

Tammi, Tim and the boys

The best words EVER!!

So, after dinner we took a bike ride. Boy am I out of shape. I mean I really did know that but I could really see it as we were riding such long bike rides last year this time. I will have to build back up to it. I love bike riding!!

When we tucked Evan in for night night he said , " I love you!" I was so excited that I yelled for Tim from his snack ( ice cream ) in the kitchen and I grabbed the video camera. :) I know it is a silly video but there is nothing better then those 3 words.

Evan is sick today! He is running a fever so we are staying home and snuggling up. Tanner is a bit sick too I am not sure if he will stay home or not.

Thanks for stopping in.... much love to all

how sad somebody!!

Well the slogan has been passed along!! All of a sudden I hear Evan saying the infamous phrase..."How sad somebody!" Hee hee. Well on friday Tim took the day to spend with Tanner. They started on the boat fishing but got snowed out...yes you read that right...SNOWED out! So, they went to watch Spiderman 3 the movie. Tim and I headed down to see our friends in C Springs. We were there from Saturday afternoon to Sunday. It was so great to see everyone and catch up a bit.

Back to the grind!

Boating fun!

Okay so we had the best weekend!! We went on the boat. I got some sun. Tanner caught a fish, Tim did not. Evan leaned over the side saying, phish, phish, phish... I sooo wish I had a decent camera so that I could have taken a few pictures..but no such luck!! Maybe soon!! I don't know if it is worth posting without pictures... darn camera!!

Love to all!!! Thanks for stopping at this boring, uneventful blog!!
