Okay and then after school

Well there were 2 reasons they did not wear thier "real" costumes to school. #1 I did not want them to get them ruined in all the "fun". #2 Darth Vader was considered "too violent" for school so we just did seperate costumes... one we had and one we purchased...

So here is the Halloween night pics...

Darth Vader( Tanner) and Yoda ( Evan) and also Princess Lea( Avery Grace) we had fun!! I wish we could have got them all to stand still for a pic...but you get the idea.

Yoda up close!

A blurry Darth Vader who can't be still he is so excited!

Darth up close!!

The beautiful Princess Lea

And this is the only pic of 2 together taken on Tim's picture phone so the quality is not the best..but I am sure you all have the idea by now.

Well I have a video I may post later too..but for now this mom is ready for night night! Good night all!! I hope everyone had a very Happy Halloween!!

Thanks for stopping

Halloween times 2!

Well this year we did 2 costumes. For school they dressed up as a missileer( Tanner) and a clown ( Evan). Poor Tanner kept telling his friends what he was going to be and they would look at him like he was crazy "What is a missileer?" Meanwhile he is thinking....doesn't EVERYONE just know what a missileer is? I mean Ms. Kim was the same thing this year. Evan's costume was so adorable and handmade by Grandma for Tanner when he was one.

Okay school pics...

Pumpkin fun

Okay so this weekend we enjoyed the pumpkin patch in Fort Collins taking advantage of the hayride, corn maze and all the fun ( and mud). Tonight we carved our pumpkins and roasted the seeds...yum yum!! Here are some pics is a very scattered order indeed...but it is late and I am being lazy. I think that you all get the idea. I am soo proud of Tanner for carving his first Jack-O-Latern by himself ( daddy just drew the face on in marker). What a big boy. With the time change I am afraid that Evan slept through all the pumpkin carving fun.

Our finished pumpkins lit up. (L-R) Pirate pumpkin kit ( thanks to grandma & grandpa) Tammi, Tanner and Tim

Evan enjoying the hayride ( well I think he is enjoying it anyway)

More pictures to come tomorrow ( of course!!)

Much Love to all and Happy Halloween

The new house...

The View from our front porch
Living room fireplace ( fully functional)
Small extra room on 2nd floor ( most likely office)
Dining room with firplace ( not working) and radiator with bun warmer (not working) but the largest bun warmer I have seen and darn cool.
Kitchen
Front of house with darn cute "sick" kid

China cabinet with working servant pass thru for serving
Back of house
Attic
Attic window
Bedroom ( has 3 total)

Well that is it! There are more pics but I think that you get the idea. It is smaller then a lot of base houses but still pretty darn cool and historic. I am excited to live there I must admit. The basement is huge with a couple rooms and well painted and looks nice. There is also a HUGE pantry off of the back off of the mudroom... having a mud room with be nice with the boys and dogs. We also get 2 garages which is a nice thing too.
Course I love the porch ....open invitation to drink Mint Julips on my porch ( not that I know how to make them but seems like what you would drink on that porch doesn't it?) Okay well off to get ready for CCD tomorrow. Hope you enjoy the pics. Be sure to scroll down as I did a few posts today.

Sent home sick

Well the Ov had a rough week. He was sent home sick Monday accussed of having hand foot and mouth disease. I took him to the Dr who confirmed he did not have that. So back to school he went. Then on Thursday he was sent home again this time for the "stomach flu". So apparently he threw up 2 times while at school on thursday and was therefore excluded from care for 48 hours. So, We hung out friday until Daddy made his way home from a week spent TDY in Colorado Springs. Then I went to work at noon. I must note that Evan has yet to throw up, run a fever or show any signs at all of this "flu". I am just glad that he is healthy. Here is a picture of him in his sweats on friday ( I thought it appropriate for a sick day!)

A very special Thank you the Ms. Kim for picking Tanner up on friday and taking him to school so he wouldn't miss getting his pumpkin! You are the bestest!!!

Next post house pics!!!

Halloween FUN!

We were invited to a Halloween Party at the home of Lt. Col and Mrs. Cheryl Stanley. We had a great time!!! We went with Matt and Kim and just had too much fun. Uncle Matt was kind enough to babysit and of course he spoiled the kids rotten!! Thanks Uncle Matt. When Uncle Matt arrived Tanner practically sent us packing right then...he couldn't get rid of us fast enough.

Our wonderful hosts

CANCELLED~~!

Well today was suppossed to be Tanner's first field trip. It was cancelled for weather. I hate to admit that I am a bit relieved. Tanner's Pre-K class was headed to the pumpkin patch in Colorado but a snow storm rolled in and it is postponed until another day. I do admit that I am glad that the program Tanner is enrolled in does a lot of adventurous fun stuff.. BUT.... a trip to Colorado without Momma... that is scary for me. I mean how did my baby grow up so fast??? I am of course sad for him and his classmates as they are sooooo dissappointed this morning.

Not too much actual accumulation here...just COLD, WINDY and YUCKY!! It is snowing now but I think it is suppossed to stop my mid day. Now the further south that you go into Colorado the story changes quite a bit. There are reports that the Springs might get up to 2 feet. UG!!

Sorry no pictures today....or this week really. I will try to make it up to you all on the weekend if you hang in there with me.

Thanks for checking in

A new place to hang out hats!

Our new neighbors!! Yes to those that are not from around here.. we have LOTS of antelope on base. And they are pretty smart antelope too! First of all their numbers increase during hunting season. They also have the right away in all situations! So we will be living with them up close and personal in a few weeks.

This is not our particular home but you get the idea. I will get some pics of our new pad in the next couple of weeks. I am so excited to be able to reside in one of these historic homes and I will be sure to pass photos along via the blog.

As always our door is always open to family and friends... we would love to have you for a visit. I will be getting new address cards out as soon as we are settled and moved.. should be before Turkey day we are hoping!

Have a great day! I am sorry that the updates have been slow coming this week.

The weather is great but word is a blizzard is rolling in... I will keep ya posted!

Thanks for checking in on us...

The fish song!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IZa0ePOAx4

Okay well on Friday Tanner and Evan had to go to a different school for the day because their school was closed for training. Well, on the way home he sang me this song and I thought it was too darn cute. The problem is that I fell for the Beta Blogger update AND... Audioblogger no longer works. Now I am trying to put a video on like I have before from You tube and it is not working either. For anyone who has made the Beta switch let me know if you are having similar problems and if anyone can't see the video through the link let me know and I will see if I can do something to change it.

Thanks for stopping!

Much love from Tammi and the boys

Some pics of tonight

We realized that we had Tanner celebrate his birthday at school, and he celebrated without Daddy in Denver ( Daddy was hunting) but we hadn't celebrated as a family. So, Uncle Matt came over for dinner and we had some cake and sang to Tanner Lee. He loved it of course. How many birthday's does one boy get???
Love you Momma's birthday boy! XOXOXO

how sad and scary

I had a great time and weekend with the girls ( and did not take 1 stinkin picture). But I got some bad news at dinner. I got a call from Tim that Parker was in surgery. He cut his chest on something in the yard and his foot too. Tim had to rush him to the vet and into surgery to get all stiched up. He has had to stay at the vet all weekend. He should return home on Monday night. I am so sad and worried about him. The vet said he should be fine but has some healing to do. I am not the only sad one as Brapp is sooo sad and lonely tonight as well.
Well I will post about my great weekend later.. this post I will leave for my dear puppy.
Thanks for checking in on us.
