Tractors and bikes

Well it seemed the rain had stopped and the sky was blue and the weather warm so we took to the outside for some tractor, bike riding, fun. Here are a few pics and video clips of the fun! It is nice because this is the cul-de-sac behind our house...it is only one way and the only people that would be driving here would be if they live back here... so the kids can play pretty freely.

I even snapped a pic of myself... why not right?

Yep the Halls are off on another adventure! We are beach bound! We are headed "home" to Jersey. We were able to get a place for Memorial Day weekend and we will spend the time with my neice and nephew. I can't wait!! I can't wait to see everyone! We will be in town for about a week and we think we will arrive sometime this friday.

Contact me if you want a little Hall time and will be around cause we really want to see as many people as we can. I am not sure when we will all be able to get there again. But I am also hopeful since we are closer we will be able to take more trips out to see everyone!

I had better get back to work..the house is really coming together which is nice..we worked our tails off yesterday... and almost every box is unpacked and put away :)

Ignore the lack of decorating...please!

Okay please keep in mind.. the house isn't really decorated...but I am posting some pics just so you can see where we are these days...and how it is kind of set up. So someday when I get some pictures on the wall and stuff set up... I will try to take more.....

Some Travelin' stuff

Our temporary home.. this is Fam Camp Cheyenne WY

We did not stay in the camper much as it was VERY cold and snowing!

The spot we camped at in FamCamp Scott AFB... it was gorgeous there!!
Omaha had a really pretty fam camp too..but I neglected to take a picture. In Omaha we got to have dinner with the Durelia's, the Douglass', and the Elshire's it was wonderful to see everyone!!

Well we did the drive in 3 days. We had a nice adventure. Well that is easy for me to say..it was just me and the sirius radio in my car. Tim had both boys, the dog and the camper with the truck.



We drove pretty easy days...took our time... but it went pretty fast overall. We were excite to arrive and check out our new town. Over the past almost 2 weeks we have seen a lot here in Ohio. We really love it already!! There is sooooooooo much to do. I am trying to convince to Tim to buy one of the cute farms in Xenia and stay..but I don't think that is in the cards for us.

We are settled in for now. No...I still do not have anything on my walls...but we keep spending more time exploring then getting our house finished.. :)

In other news.... I got a job!! I am excited about that I had 2 interviews and was offered the 1st job. I am not sure what will come with it...but I am going to try it out. We already found the kids a new school and got Tanner registered for Kindergarten...they cannot wait to get in school and make some new friends. I think they will have to wait a bit...because... we are going to try to get back home (NJ) for a trip.... very soon!! I will keep everyone posted.

Dayton Dragons game..

Well we caught a game last night! We had some dogs and junk food at the game and stopped for ice cream on the way home. Perfect summer night...even if it isn't quite summer yet. You may have remembered that we went to a game last week...well this is how that turned out:

New House

Well here is a shot of our new home! I am still working on digging out of boxes and I will take some pics soon... Today we got some curtains up. There are a ton of floor to ceiling windows so the curtains really have added some warmth. As of right now there is not one thing hanging on a wall....but it is getting there.

We love it here!!!!

We found a great little spot to eat... it was reccommended by Terri and we have been 2 times in the week we have been here... City Bar-B- Que...sooooo yummy!!!!

Well, sorry the posts have not been to exciting... just know that I am working hard!!!!

YUMMY!!!

Guess what I had for dinner.....????

YEP... a Fishamajig sandwich and a reeses peanut butter cup sundae and it was just as yummy as I remember. It has been YEARS... since I have been to Friendley's and there are 2 restaurants within 5 miles of my new home.... life is good!!! :)

We did lots of work today... shopping, unpacking...etc. We purchased some new furniture to turn this house into a home... and I hope to have some pictures to post soon. We are loving our new place. New church in the morning...lots of choices there but I think we will try on base first.

Exploring and unpacking

Well we have been unpacking... and we have been exploring... but we are also going to take some time for a bit of fun! We will be attending a Dayton Dragon game tomorrow night. We are soooo excited about how much there is to do here! We are bursting! We will add some pics of the travels soon... bear with me... still lots of boxes to get through.

The Dragons are the farm team for the Cincinatti Reds. :) Baseball...warm summer weather...it is all good!

ARRIVED!!!

We are here!! Safe and Sound!! Our new home!! We are just getting settled in. Our household goods arive tomorrow and this should be our last displaced night! So AWESOME!!

I have lots to catch you up on...but what I can say is that so far we really think we are going to LOVE Ohio! It feels so much like home to me already!!!
