My boys...my the tractor...Tanners big Santa gift!

tag your it!

Okay I stole this one from someone's blog thought it might be fun....

"Here are the rules; the first player of this game starts with the topic. Five weird habits of yourself and people who get tagged need to write an entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged and link to their web journals. Don’t forget to leave a comment in their blog or journal that says “You are tagged” (assuming they take comments) and tell them to read yours. So here we go......."

Weird habits...lets see.. I mean I am not weird right? Well okay maybe a bit.

1) Whenever I eat a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup I have to nibble the edges to try and seperate the chocolate without distrubing the peanut butter. I then peal the chocolate all off. So, I am trying to get just a piece of peanut butter...hardly ever works however.

2) If I tie one shoe I have to tie the other one... I can't have one freshly tied and one not.

3)Wish time... it is not a weird habit it is a tradition really. If the clock is all the same number I can make that many wishes ( ie 2:22= 2 wishes)

4) If I have mayo on a sandwich it has to be on the bread and cannot be on the meat, that goes for lunch meat and cheese or burgers, It just had to be on the bread or I would have to scrap it off....eventhough the meat and bread touch.

( okay now I feel like a freak of nature is that the point of this game)

5) Lastly, thankfully, hummm....lets see... I sleep best with the TV on...is that weird? My husband surely thinks that it is..

Okay now who to challenge...

Let's see how weird my friends really are

  • Meghan
  • you are first because you need to update your blog...so here is something to write about!

  • Sally
  • Okay Sally...there has to be something weird about you!

  • Beth
  • any weird habits?

  • Keelee
  • and
  • Kara
  • sisters..same weird habits or not.

Well I hope everyone tries this I will be checking your blogs...

    And Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :)

    Santa came!

Well, Greetings!! I hope that everyone enjoyed a wonderful holiday with friends and family! I am sad that my family is so far away this time of year but we are truly blessed to have our air force family. It was a busy couple of days but spent with our wonderful friends, filled with food and presents...now that is never a bad thing!

I cut my hair...all off! That is right this busy mom needed an 20 extra minutes...this was the best way I could think of to get it! It is an adjustment still but I don't hate it..so that is a start!

me with short hair... with Tanner Lee..."cheesing" of course...

Tanner and Evan had a great night Christmas eve... after mass we had our friends over ( Billie, Bruce, Abbey, Brett, Tara, Tim, Jamie and Felker) and did a gift exchange... ate drank and were merry. After they left it was off to bed for the boys ( in thier matching Pj's of course) . Yes I know they will hate me for this when they get older.

The gift exchange is full craziness L-R (Tara, Abbey,Tim, Felker,Bruce,TimP, Billie Jean,Tanner)

Santa came sometime in the night...but Tanner was pooped so it took me, Tim and Evan AND A video camera to persuade his butt out of bed. We got his reaction and I think he was pretty impressed with Christmas and all of the gifts. He was even excited about new socks and underwear which I hadn't expected at all.... Evan on the other hand got so many toys he just layed there and looked around in amazement. the playroom is full to maximum capacity! I am not sure what but something will have to give and soon... that organization project is for another day!

On Christmas day itself after all the hub bub here we headed to the Hlivkos ( Matt and Kim and Avery) for dinner. Yum yum! We got to visit with Cindy, Julie, Bryan, Hudson, Beth, Sam, Samantha and Brian and Nolan too.... and also Randy; Kim's dad visiting from Ohio. It was a blast and I tell ya Matt can make a MEAN Ham. I don't even like ham and you could barely keep me back from a third helping of the stuff...yum yum! All of the food was very yummy! I so enjoyed the time spent with everyone. Pictures are still on the camera from this event...so later on that!

Well, I will include some pics and call it a night. The boys are all nestled in thier beds and I think Mom is way overdue some reading time..

    More tomorrow....

    :)

Okay I am having picture issues...so more pics later...sorry!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Got a little snow... here is a picture of our house from the street today.... good bit of snow! Always welcome this time of year.

Here is a pic of the newest babies dressed in thier Christmas outfits. This pic was taken at Tim's office party on Saturday night ( Evan 5 months, Avery 3 months, Nolan 1 month) Evan didn't have a hat so I let him borrow my hat. Notice Evan and Avery are holding hands... too cute!

We had a great busy weekend. I took friday off of work and did a shopping marathon in Denver with Billie. On Saturday we had a birthday party for Tanner's friend William and his work party that night. On Sunday I cleaned the house...MUCH needed while Tim went to church. Then we went to an open house at the VanVoast's and some last minute shopping. I think we are DONE! But knowing us we will keep shopping..

Gotta run Evan is calling me... and he doesn't sound thrilled... :)

    More later..or tomorrow..

    Busy weekend!

It was a busy weekend....but a fun one! Seems the few weekends before Christmas are always so jammed packed. On Saturday Tim went shopping with Bruce and I watched Elias. Elias is 5 and he is Alison's (friend from work) son. Tanner and he played well together and we even baked some homemade banana bread for our snack together. Then Tim came home and it was off to the cookie exchange. "Beth's 2nd annual cookie exchange" to be exact. It was a blast and so fun. Beth is such a good hostess ( really I am pretty jealous of her hosting skills) . Evan and I even won a prize for festive dress. I dressed Evan in Tanner's first Christmas outfit and it was a little snug but brought us home the prize. Here are some pics of us stolen from Beth's blog.

The one is of me holding Jack and Evan. Jack is Kari and Tony Stewarts boy who was born ( June 30th) so they are really close in age.

After the exchange Evan and I met Tim and Tanner at the fights on base. Every year the boxing team puts on a full scale match it was a lot of fun. After the fights we went back to the Ludwicks and got to hang out with the Purcells and the Ludwicks for a bit.

On Sunday morning we headed to church and immediatly following Tanner and I had to rush to Alicia's birthday party. Alicia is his friend form school. It was at the pizza hut on Yellowstone. When we got home Christmas had EXPLODED at our house! Daddy put lights all over the place and Tanner was so excited!! Tanner has been asking "for Christmas at our house" since he saw the first light on a house. We had our tree and everything inside but he wanted outside ligths.

Well after the party Tanner took a nap and Evan and I packed up to attend a Gift Exchange at Julie's house. It was another blast with all the girls and I got the most wonderful gift from Cindy. I was amazed by my gift basket with tea, a mug and 2 books. I already started reading the one she got ...the Nanny diaries and I am enjoying it so far. I will post some pics later of this. We got one of all the babies of 2005. We also all wore Christmas socks and we got a pic of that I am looking forward to seeing. It was wonderful to see everyone and it was really quite a "girls weekend" I loved it!

Last night Tim and I and the boys went to church for "feast of Saint Guadalupe" it was nice to attend. Then we all went to CB Potts for some dinner.

Seems there are too many things to get ready for the holidays...but we are trying to squeeze it all in!

I will post some more pics of the weekend as soon as I find some time to dowload them.

The little tree in the kitchen.

The big tree and you can see the village as well.

The mantle ( the stockings all hung by the chimney with care) Well, Evan's stocking is still in getting his name embroidered.

It seems everything looks better lit up then in these pics... but you get the idea.

Tea in the trees at the depot

On Sunday I had the pleasure of going to the tea in the trees at the depot with the girls. I am thankful to Julie for planning it and to Tim for getting home from hunting for me to go and enjoy it. I stole this pictures from Beths blog. Soon someone is going to show me how to post blog links on my blog... I am expecting a lesson from Keelee soon....Keelee????

Okay well this one is a pic by one of the decorated trees. These trees are donated and auctioned off...

( L-R Cindy, Lindsey, Beth, Julie, Kari and me)

This next tree was made out of tumbleweeds....which are everywhere out here so we thought it was funny and worth a pic.

Last night we headed to do some shopping right after work and for Tanner to get a much needed haircut. Well, right after his haircut he looked very lethargic...he ended up sleeping in the grocery cart at the store while we shopped. I am not sure what was going on with him. When I got home he had a 101.5 fever. I drugged him with some motrin and in an hour he was runnning around like crazy boy again. So, is he sick? I am not sure. We were all looking forward to going to see Nolan and Sam and Brian's families last night but we didn't want to take any chances with Tanner's fever. I really hope that I get to see them before they leave.

Well, that is all the news that is fit to print here.

look what we got last night!!!

Yep last night we brought home this Frasier Fur....it is the smallest tree we have ever gotten. But ya know the tree always overtakes the house...I am hoping this year that will not be the case.

Okay gotta run to work...more later...

    :)
