Pick up lines???

Okay so as we are walking out of church on Sunday...Tanner is chatting up a little girl. Now we know her, she is one year older then Tanner and they seem quite found of each other and like to play together if they get a chance.

Well here is the conversation...." Hey Kayleigh"

"Hi"

"Hey did you know I am a hockey player?"

"um-no"

Tim and I just started laughing... apparently he is now trying to see if Hockey will make him popular with the ladies... hee hee... and he is only 5! I am worried!

That is what heard....mom I am stuck... went in laughed and had to grab the camera! Of course as soon as he sees the camera...he says "cheese"!! Gotta love this kiddo...he is such a ham!

We did have fun watching them play... long weekend ... but a fun one!!

Hockey fun!!

We had a total blast at the Catch and Edge Jamboree in Littleton this weekend!! We are so proud of Tanner and how much he is improving. To think just 4 months ago he couldn't even stand up on skates???

All hockey all the time....

Okay pics are to come... but for now just know that we are spending a total hockey weekend. Tanner is participating in a tournament. I have to say when he took the ice for his first game this morning... I literally cried. I mean not teared up... cried. It was so emotional for me when I saw him in all of his gear taking the ice for a game. He is such a big boy! How did that happen?? Wasn't he just born???? Okay I will post pics... soon... hopefully tomorrow!!!

But it is BIG NEWS!!! Evan is going potty on the potty. Yep that is right... underwear all day, all pottying was done on the potty... can you believe it??? Mom can't! I am excited....but then again my baby is growing up.... how did this go so fast???

Tim and I have become food network fans. I know I always used to wonder how so many could watch the food network...but we were so wrong!!! Pretty much every Sunday's meal is in someway inspired by the food network. My fav is Tyler Florence..... our Christmas meal was one of his creations.....soooooo yummy!!! It was amazing!!

Okay this was a non-picture taking weekend... so I will have to catch up on that soon... I am sure I can find something to share with you all!!

A good read....

Well as many of you know... I love to read. Unfortunatly with all that is on my plate these days I do not get enough time to do that. I recieved the above book from my in-laws for Christmas this year and sat down to read it and was done shortly after. It is a short book, a quick read but it is guaranteed to make you smile and cry. For anyone that has had a dog that they have loved this is worth the read. Many of you know that I recently lost my dog Parker. I haven't been able to post about it.... someday I hope to be able to do that.... but for now this book has helped me heal a bit.
