I thought I would never say it.....

I have to admit it... I miss WYOMING! I know, I know... I never thought that I would say it... but here I am saying it... already less then six months in....

What could bring this on you ask? Well I will tell you....VOTING! The best thing about Wyoming... is the lack of people! So, when I went to vote in and out no big deal.. well not so in Ohio. Granted, it is exciting that Ohio is a VERY important state in this election and it seems that Ohioians are taking this quite seriously. I went on my lunch break to try and vote for early voting and the line was around the building... ug! I guess I will need to try again.. Don't worry I will try again and I will do my best to do my democratic duty and cast my vote!

Okay... more stuff to come... tonight will hopefully be the last night I have to glue myself to a baseball game... GO PHILLIES!!!!!

Halloween Party

We were invited to the coolest kids Halloween party. It was only 3 doors down and they pulled out all of the stops. We had tons of food, goodies and lots of games...it ended with a movie outside under the stars....

The kids said...."Best Party Ever!"

Before we left...
During the mummy game (adults had to dress thier kids up as a mummy) This was after musical chairs

a group shot of kiddos

The movie night...they set a huge screen up on their garage and that is Ms. Geri making fresh popcorn for everyone.. yum!
There was also a game where we held cookies on a string and the kiddos ate the cookies... neat ideas!
Well I guess Trick or Treating is Thursday night here because they do not want to interfere with football games? I thought it was a bit odd but that is what we will be doing I supposse. Let's hope Evan gets to be in his actual costume at some point..
Thanks for stopping in!
We had a great weekend. Friday night I had a "date" with my friend Julie. We did dinner at Panera Bread, Starbucks and a movie (Secret life of Bees) . It was great to have some girl time and I really liked the movie.
Much love to all!

Fun Fall Camping Adventure

Well we had a total blast on our last camping trip of 2008!! For any of you that have camped with us you can imagine Tim cooked lots of good food! We roasted pumpkin seeds in the dutch oven and Tim topped himself with a homemade Apple Crisp that was to die for also in the Dutch Oven. We had so much fun with Mr. Russell and Ms. Julie and are looking forward to more camping to come with them... ( when it warms up a bit of course)

Great Read!

I know that I am behind the curve on this book...BUT since the movie came out recently my friend Julie told me I had to read it. She is so sweet and she mailed it to me from a visit to her parents and I finished it in no time. It is a great story. A quick and fantastic read. I am glad that I will be able to get to sleep tonight and not have to read...just one more page...before I will let myself turn off the light. If you haven't read it do yourself a favor and do.
Thanks for stopping. We had a nice weekend and we have some fun stuff on tap for this next weekend too.. I will try to update again soon.
Thanks for stopping in.

Mom's project...

So, I decided that I needed a project to work on. I could not find any craft classes or anything to do. I am still looking. In the meantime, I have been looking for a little hook for my laundry room for the kids to put thier back packs and coats on after school. So, I killed two birds with one stone. Now, that I got the paints and stuff out, I think I will need to get back into the habit of crafts. It is such a fun and relaxing thing to do.

All done
Oh and notice Tanner's adorable little lunch box. It is so darn cute and he LOVES it! He has been bringing it to school with his snack it it. Thank to Ms. Kim, Mr. Matt and the girls... what an adorable gift idea!

More to come!
