No job for me...

Well I got the "thanks for applying letter in the mail yesterday...." oh well.. I know it is all part of God's master plan..no worries!

Better get on the treadmill... I may be unemployed but I might as well look fabulous while I am... :)

Our little artist....

Well we had a nice "impromptu" night last night. We started by Tim getting home early and going to the mall so we could walk and get some car work done at Sears. Then we walked over to Chilis for dinner. After dinner, a big beer for me :) my husband said he was taking us somewhere. Well, it ended up being Graffitos and we painted some projects. As you can see Tanner was quite serious about his creation ( a fish bank) I can't wait to see how they turn out. Tim and I worked on cookie jar with the kids handprints on there and thier ages. Very fun and unexpected!! We had a blast but the kids had both expired by the way home......


Evan is EVERYWHER these days... not really crawling but rolling and scooting and getting into everything...I need more eyes..

Well here I am on my way to my interview ( new suit bought last night at Dilliards). I think it went "ok" not great... I mean I guess the good news is that they had 52 qualified applicants and did 6 interviews...I was one... i should hear something next week. Time will tell. Hey at least I got a new suit! :) 

walk at Grandma's

Well we decided to take a walk while at Grandma's. There was lots of wind and blowing snow...so we didn't get too far as it was a bit cold for the kids. So, Grandpa picked us up in the Yukon and we headed to the lake to feed the ducks and geese..

Flat Stanley

Well we recieved a project from a 1st grade class in Iowa. We were sent a cardboard cutout of "Flat Stanley" . Flat Stanley had been to all states except Wyoming. The boys and I dressed him in some Cowboy gear... with hat and boot and the works... we are going to take him out and show him Cheyenne. Then we will send him back to Iowa with tales of his adventures... kind of a neat idea... really...

Well here he is with the boys all dressed up...we are off to show him Cheyenne... I will post more pics of his adventures later.

Sam is in BIG trouble!! Because I now love this show... I watched all of the episodes in one day and can't wait for a new one. It is a new HBO series... about a man ( Bill Paxton) with 3 wives... very good stuff! Check it out sometime.....

What is going on?

Well, we are back from the visit to the inlaws. Had a very nice time. I got to see some slides of Tim and his brothers as boys and it was sucha blast!! I also got Tim's baby albums and I am soooo excited about posting some pics... coupled with the new scanner. However, blogger is totally against it!!! What is going on? I have been trying all morning...more later... I hope!

Greetings from Salt Lake

Greetings! Well, despite leaving late ( after 3:30) we were able to make it to Salt Lake with minimal difficulties. Of course the car is packed to the gills for a long weekend at the in-laws, but that seems to be par for the course traveling with kiddos. Speaking of kiddos, as I type this they both sit bright eyed and bushytailed looking at me ( it is almost midnight) as they have been asleep for hours. Well, we will sleep in tomorrow morning, we are just a short drive to the inlaws at this point. Of course we almost had to drive even closer to our destination. We were VERY lucky to get this room. We didn't book...thinking how hard will it be to get a room in a big city like Salt lake. Well, apparently NCAA is in town and we literally got the 2nd to the last room in town.... crazy eh? Well, better get some rest...it has been a long day!

Fast car wash

Well, this picture is of my door and I think it was the best angle to see the crease in the fender. I took my car to Fast car washt o be washed yesterday. Well, it was windy and when they had the car int he back..apparently the door "sprung" ( went all the way back the other way). I was totally calm and non-confrontational about it ( as is my nature) and I think they expected me to just say okay and walk away... not so much. Well, I asked her ( the owners wife) what we do about this...and she went off! She said" Well, I guess this is just your lucky day... the wind happened to your car and now it is my fault!" In the end they sent me to an autobody shop for it to be repaired...but the guy is saying the fender is too much work to repair. I am so mad about this.... mostly because I never stand up for myself in situations like this too. It is just a mess and the biggest thing I think is that they were so rude and mean ( typical Cheyenne). They had ABSOLUTELY no sympathy not ever even said they were sorry at all. So, they will fix my car but of course I will never go there again and I intend to tell everyone I know the same. You know we went there constantly with all 3 vehicles too. Anyway, FYI there are 2 in town and I would say..do not take your chances......

We are gearing up for our trip to the inlaws not sure if I will be able to blog from there or not!

Better get to packing! 

Big day for the hubby...

Well today was Tim's much anticipated "last alert". For non-airfoce people that means he no longer has to go out to the field for 24 hours at a stretch and do that part of his job. That chapter is pretty much closed.... it is a relief for him. The boys and I went to support him and listen to his "last alert speech". He gave me a beautiful arrangement of flowers and here is a shot of Evan trying to eat them...

Thanks to my hunny!! I am so glad you will not need to do that anymore! :) On the one hand it seems like forever but on the other it seems like you just started pulling alerts... where has the time went? Why do I keep getting older?... :) I guess it is much better then the alternative.

In other good news!!!...

I got called for an interview for DFS for the 24th!! I am soooo excited! I am nervous because eventhough that is where my background is I have been out of the field for a while...so trying not to get my hopes too high but still optomistic!

Catching up.........

I am finally catching up with modern technology. I have a new printer scanner and I am soooo excited! Why hadn't we bought one before I am not quite sure BUT I am looking forward to scanning in some pictures and I am sure they will show up on my blog! How fun!


Well, in other exciting news...Evan slept the last two nights. See Tim and I are sooooooooooo spoiled because Tanner has always slept so well and Evan followed the same pattern...then one day... probably about a month ago he decided to break the mold. He was up at night...ALOT! We are talking 2 or more times a night. Sincee I am home all day it wasn't a huge deal....BUT I still was tired and wishing he would sleep. This is probably premature...BUT the last 2 nights he has slept soundly from 9 pm - 6 am...and I for one am not complaining a bit! GO EVAN you rock!!!


GIRLS NIGHT OUT!! Well we all got together last night for some wine at Sam's and off to Applebees for dinner to celebra,te Kim's birthday! We had a full house, Lindsey, Beth, Sam, Keelee, Julie, Krystal and of course Kim. The cameras were flashing so I am sure the pics will show up on the blogs today and I will be sure to post one soon. It was a blast ladies! I was glad to get to see everyone... it has been too long. And unfortunatly our group will be getting smaller real soon... with Sam and Julie ( and thier families of course) both relocating in April... that is the not fun part.

Well today is a big day for the hubby so I need to get ready..... details on that later.

I thought it was spring!!! What is this??? Yep this is Spring in Wyoming... 60's one day and snow the next!!! But on this snowy day I have taken some time to clean up, work out while the boys are napping. Evan has decided that sleeping at night is against his better judgement so I am sure the 3+ hour nap is just what he needed....speaking of Evan he is calling now...gotta run!!

Here is a picture of my good friend Kim ( holding her beautiful daughter Avery Grace) Her birthday was yesterday and I totally knew it...but blew it! I am soooooo sorry Kim!! I want to take this time to tell you that I appreciate your friendship. You are the most sincere and all around sweetest person that I have the pleasure to know. I hope that you enjoyed your special day with your family.


Yesterday was also my mother's birthday... if she were still alive she would have been 80 years old ( hard to believe). There isn't a day raising these boys that I don't earn a new respect for her and miss her more and more. In my heart I know she is up above and still guiding me through this journey we call life... and that one day we will walk together again. Love you Mom!
