First thing first... we got into town and picked up my niece and nephew and starting the camping adventure. The drive was longer then we expected....but we all handled like pro's! I mean it was only 2 weeks ago that we had been in the car for 3 days....so 9 hours....no sweat!!! Not to mention as we got closer into PA...we got to stop at Wawa's!! Now, if you are not from the area you may not know about Wawa's but if you are you KNOW what WAWA is... and you LOVE it!!!!
So, we loaded up my neice and nephew. Gabbie and Jimbo (10) and stopped at Shop Rite for all of our food needs ( and lots of junk too) and headed "down the shore" to Wildwood for some camping and a long weekend. We stayed in a great campground. There were lots of wooded areas, a ton of things for the kids to do. A lake to fish and swim in and a pool too!! After getting settled in the campground we explored a bit, hit the pool and the next morning headed for the beach for the real fun to begin!! They weren't scared; everyone took to the water like champs...well except me...I just took the pictures and lounged in the sand...ahhhh the beach!!
We then hit the boardwalk for junk food, games and rides rides and more rides!!!!
After 3 days in the Jersey shore...we headed back up to visit with everyone! We had a great time seeing everyone... eating chatting and just really enjoying all the family and friends that we do not get to see nearly enough! Thanks to everyone for your hospitality it was great to see everyone! We love to host...so if you wanna come out to Ohio...come on...we are MUCH closer now!!!!
