ME:
ESTJ -- Extraverted Thinking Aided by Sensing
return to topMain Characteristics
ESTJ'S are very much in touch with the external environment. They know their community and usually are pillars of strength. The best adjective to describe ESTJs would be responsible. They represent about 13 percent of the general population.
ESTJs are outstanding at organizing orderly procedures and in detailing rules and regulations. They like to see things done correctly. They tend to be impatient with those who do not carry out procedures with sufficient attention to those details, prescribed by those with the most experience, that will get the job done right.
ESTJs are comfortable in evaluating others and tend to judge how a person is doing in terms of standard operating procedures. They may, at times, be abrupt with those who do not follow rules correctly. ESTJs are realistic, matter-of-fact, and more curious about new devices and processes than about new principles and theories.
Career
ESTJ's generally are loyal to their institutions, work, and community and make excellent, faithful mates and parents. They see where their duty lies and are not likely to shirk the doing of that duty, even when this requires considerable sacrifice on their part. They frequently rise to positions of responsibility in their jobs, in the community, and in their religious affiliations. They very often belong to several civic clubs, and support them both through steady attendance and through their spoken attitudes. ESTJs themselves are punctual and expect others to be also.
ESTJs may not always be responsive to points of view and emotions of others and may have a tendency to jump to conclusions too quickly at times. They may not always be willing to listen patiently to opposing views; they are especially vulnerable to this tendency when in positions of authority. They may need to make special effort to remain open to input from others who are dependent on them - their children, spouses, and employees.
ESTJs are so in tune with the established, time-honored institutions and ways of behaving within those institutions that they cannot understand those who might wish to abandon or radically change those institutions. They follow routines well at home and at work, tending to have a place for everything and wanting everything in its place. They are usually neat and orderly at work and at play.
YOU can take it too here.... and please tell me what you are!

Lazy Sunday
We are having a lazy Sunday and I am not complaining one bit!!!!
On thursday night Billie and I went to see Brokeback Mountain. It was good.... it definatly took me out of my comfort zone...which is good. It was deep...but I have to say I wasn't happy with the ending...I didn't want a "happy ending" or anything...i just didn't like th eone I got. Okay enough about that for my blog readers who haven't seen the film.
On friday we hung out with a group of friends ( the ones with the new baby) thier time here is really short...UNFORTUNATLY...so it was great to get to spend some time hanging out. Saturday Tanner had a birthday party to go to and he had a blast! Then we headed down to Fort Collins just to get out of town. We went to church there and even had the pleasure of dining with Cindy and Ken for dinner. What a great treat! They sure are troppers as we called them and they were game to go out with us....right then.. It was great visitng with them...we went to Buca..and it was wonderful! Afterwards we headed to the mall to walk off dinner a bit and headed home.
Today is just laundry and cleaning.... Evan is napping and Tanner is playing with "Puppy doctor". That was a gift from Sam and Brian for Christmas...he is loving it!
Well that is a weekend in our exciting household...I guess I should get out of my jammas since it is 12:45 already! :)

all around good weekend
First of all WELCOME TO THE WORLD Delaney Grace. Jamie and John welcomed Delaney Grace to the world via C-section on Saturday at about 4:00 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 9 ounces and was 19 inches long. Everyone is doing good. It was so exciting seeing the baby from the moment they brought her into the nursery and getting her first bath. I was so glad that I got to share in that experience.
After that..we were all starving so a group of us headed out to Little Bear for some dinner...here is a shot of the boys by the bear.
Anyway yesterday Tim had some friends over to watch the Broncos and thier Superbowl hopes squashed by the Steelers. Sorry Hunny...there is always next year.
here is a cute pic of my Broncos fans and in family solidarity Tanner and I even wore orange shirts and blue jeans.. we aren't fans but since our team stunk this year we thought that we would be nice.
:)
All in all a good weekend..

cheers to 2006!
I thought this pic of Tanner was cute! He almost looks intoxicated! OF COURSE HE IS NOT!!! That is grape juice..sparkling but it is midnight and in true Tanner spirit of not wanting to miss a beat he is up toasting 2006 with the adults.
I love my new camera because the pics are such high quality... I hate it because it takes me a year to upload to blogger... maybe the girls can give me a trick on this...Keelee????
Well I had a good weekend! Friday afternoon Julie and Sam and Nolan and Hudson came over for lunch girl talk. Then firday night I went to dinner with Julie, Keelee, Beth, and Whitney ( I FINALLY got to meet Whitney!) I was so glad to be able to hang out and chat with those ladies...what a blast!
Saturday the boys and I hung in and Tim worked in the morning and then headed to the game... yes he was way excited...playoffs... Broncos and VICTORY...made for a great time! Stacy and her boys ( Marcus and Trenton) came over to hang out and play. Tanner had an absolute blast!
Sunday we hung out at home... putzed around and stayed in... real low key...just the way I like it.
Tomorrow is an early morning cause poor Evan needs his 6 month shots...poor little guy!
Well off to get some shut eye... more pics later...

Okay so Tanner is SUPPOSSED to be cleaning his play room. He is having some friends over to play friday and Saturday.... but look what he is doing instead..relaxing! Then again his mom is SUPPOSSED to be cleaning the house... and look what I am doing instead...blogging. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...
:)
Just thought I would share...now I really better get to cleaning cause Evan is napping...and I will get on the treadmill today!
:)
the criminals
Well here are the criminals at the scene of the crime. The crime you may ask? Well, last night Tim was cooking dinner, Omaha steaks...yum! We were lucky enough to recieve Omaha steaks from two sets of friends this year for Christmas, The Purcells and the Johnsons. Well, we decided to try them last night. Tim left the grill open with 4 steaks sitting on it for one second. As you can guess the next thing we knew the dogs were enjoying a very yummy, expensive dinner. I am not how they jumped up onto the hot grill and got the steaks but with these dogs danger is thier middle name. I just thought I would share.... guess we all ate pretty good last night including the dogs.
Well I have not been so good at posting lately. You would think that I would have more free time these days but it seems I am constantly on the go. Today it is clean the house and do laundry and grocery shopping day.. should be a blast!

Donna came for New Years
Okay so it has kind of become a tradition...Donna and NYE. This was her second visit at New years and we were glad to have her. She flew in Friday and I met her at the Hotel Monaco where we relaxed, drank and had a wonderful dinner at the cheesecake factory. YUM!!
The fun thing about Hotel Monaco is that they are pet friendly. If you are not traveling with a pet...they will give you a gold fish for your room. We named our goldfish Elmer. Elmer the small town in Jersey that Donna and I grew up in. Here is a pic of Elmer ( much anticipated by Donna)
Donna at the Cheesecake Factory..
We spent NYE with the Felkers, Purcells, Ludwicks, Johnsons and Fore's. We had a nice time. Started with dinner at the Purcells and then over to the Felkers...we only lasted til shortly after midnight...wild and crazy that we are.
Here is a pic of the guys enjoying the bar.

TAKEN TOO SOON
This is a picture of my beautiful godson Derek John "DJ" Sneed. He was taken from us too soon ( 2 years ago yesterday) . He and the joy that he brought will live forever in all of our hearts. We love you and miss you DJ. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with his mom, dad and 2 sisters; while he is happy in heaven with the Lord it is everyone that is left behind is left with a hole in thier lives.

I AM FREE!!!
That is right freedom!!! Today was a liberating day! As some of you may know I have been having lots of problems with my job..mostly my boss and lack of respect type stuff...well today I resigned my position effective IMMEDIATLY!!! That was the most enpowering experience I have had since working at the credit union... I will miss alot of the people that I work with and got the pleasure to know and see on a daily basis. But to be honest.. I just couldn't be happier and more relieved! :)
Well look at this picture:
Can you believe that??? I cannot...where has the time gone... Even Evan can't believe his eyes!!! :)
Okay New Years pics soon...
