As promised.....

Here is another post as promised. I figured when aren't adorably embarrassing pictures of bathing boys welcome...right??????

Well Tanner has been playing soccer. He is doing great and even has scored a few "golds" ( that is what he thought they were called) Anyway, Tim is coaching and he is so excited how well the kids are doing this year. Anyway, I cannot take any pictures. That is right we are not allowed to take pictures of the kids playing sports at the YMCA...bizarre I know. But those are the rules. Maybe I will get a pic after the last game to share with you all.

Well when we took our "date" pictures yesterday we tried to get a few with Evan in them but he kept purposely making funny faces... the boy is AWNRY... but we love him oodles and oodles!!

Best date EVER!!!!

Well I will let the following pictures explain themselves as fas as captions but I have a VERY special day today. I had a date with my handsome young son. He and I headed to the Budweiser Events center to see the Doodlebops!!! For those of you not familiar with the "famous" doodlebops.. 2 words.. Disney Channel. Anyway we had a great time. I was a bit nervous cause we got a good bit of snow here last night and braving the roads seemed soooo stupid. I did not want to let Tanner down and I am glad that I toughed it out cause about 5 miles outside of Cheyenne there was not a speck of snow to be seen anywhere. Anyway we had a blast. After the show we went to Red Robin for a bite to eat. The gal that sat us accidentally gave us to regular menus and no kids menu. When I asked for one...she walked away and Tanner said " Mom she thought I was a grownup, must be because we are on a date!" It was so fun but I have to tell you that I caught myself crying a few times... how did my little baby become so big!!!

He even asked again for my hand in marriage... hee hee.. Can't wait to do this again with Tanner. I need to spend some more one on one time with the boys. It is so special.

Okay I am off to dreamland... more posts this weekend I hope. Sorry to Beth and Sally and everyone else for being a slacker.

First light.....

I recieved these pictures today. They are taken in Greenland. They are taken by our good friend Bruce. This is the first sunrise in 5 months. Can you even imagine? I know I can't for sure!!!

Yeah for sun!! It may be cold and snowy but at least we have sun here everyday!

my friend the photographer....

I had some technical difficulties with this post....so I think the pics should be working now...



Okay I have this friend, Beth,and she is a photographer. A pretty amazing one at that. It is sooo cool to have a friend who is a photographer. I am not very good at picture taking. You can probably tell from the blog, I mean I take lots but I don't take good pictures. So although I like Beth for many reasons and am glad that she is my friend....the photographer thing is a really cool bonus... :)





We had a small get together for the Super bowl. I did not take any pictures.... but Beth really captured the moments... so here the pics that I stole from her blog.
