Well we headed down to the Springs last weekend for a "summer vacation" That was kind of our little joke. Tim has been working a lot of weekends and we haven't gotten to camp like we wanted so we left about friday at noon and loaded up the family and the camper. We actually stayed at Fam Camp at the Academy.

The best part about C'Springs is all of the friends we get to see when we head there. We got together friday night with the group for some drinks and food hosted by Tim and Tara. Good Times!

Saturday we got an early start and had a full day. We started picking up Felker ( he was in the Springs for training) and Tara and headed to breakfast. Then Tara and I went to get pedicures and then we were off to be tourists. We headed up to Cripple Creek and toured a Gold mine ( 1000 feet below ground) Then we headed to the town of Cripple Creek. Walked around and had some lunch. Then we were off to check out Manitou Springs.

That evening we all heaed to P.F. Changs for a late yummy dinner!!!

Sunday we got up and packed up and went to church at the Academy. Talk about a packed house!! We loved the service! Then we did some more sight seeing all the way home. We stopped in Castle Rock, and the last leg at Joe's Crab Shack for dinner.

It was a quick weekend and not a real "summer vacation" as we joked.. but it was AWESOME! It was great to see friends, relax enjoy time with us and the boys and forget about work for a weekend.... what more could I ask for, really???

Thanks for stopping!! Much love to all! Tammi and the boys!
