Look who we found in Cheyenne?

That is right Aunt Bernie and Uncle Ted. They were in town to take in some of the sights. We met them out at the park and then saw the parade with them the next day. It was great to see them!

What is CFD?

Hee Hee sorry Lori! How to describe CFD to all the folks who have not gotten the opportunity to experience it live and in person??.... Let's see. I think that what Tim said the other day pretty much hit the nail on the head, " the Redneck Mardi Gras" Sad but true! Well, there is a midway, and a rodeo and concerts and something to do for a week in Cheyenne so I guess it could be worse. Either way, it is over. We went to the finals today. Since we had not seen the finals and we anticipated that our 6th Frontier Days might just be our last we thought it would be worth checking out.

Little ole' Cheyenne

I am enjoying a little Fox and friends ( yeah I pretty much can't start my day without it) and I see that there is a reporter in downtown Cheyenne. CRAZY!!! The story is in the link below. Sorry I have not figured out the link thing really. I just can't believe that I am watching Cheyenne on my TV. Not that it is for a good reason. But it is just too WEIRD!!

Uncle Matt is the best!!

Well, Uncle Matt is pretty much the best!! He came over Sunday and had dinner with us... he brought the boys toys including this rocket for Evan. They had so much fun playing that I had to snap a picture!

Overtiredness...it could happen to you!

So we had a fun uneventfult weekend. The boys played outside alot. On Sunday we went to a movie on base and Evan slept through the last 20 minutes or so. When we got home he was so against a nap. He through a tamtrum as Tim prepared a yummy homemade lasagna. Mid tantrum he fell asleep on the floor. I couldn't help but snap these pics of him. Yes we let him sleep there. He looked comfy and after over an hour woke up refreshed and ready to face the day.

Tim and I celebrated 6 years of marital bliss on Sat. We got a sitter, went to church, went to dinner and a movie. Good Times!!! I wouldn't change my life for anything in the world. I could not be more blessed!

Relay

I did do my relay for life a few weeks ago and we had a blast. Tim and I and the boys took our camper and camped at the school. The whole experience was so moving and I was so glad to be a part of it.

We also had some visitors Beth, Sam and Reagan and Liz and Austin all the way from Washington DC.

Taste of Fort Collins

So a few weeks ago we headed to Fort Collins for the taste of Fort Collins. We met up with Shawn and Lindsey and Beth, Reagan and Sam. We had a great time. We ate, listened to live music on the lawn and ate a bit more. All of the restaurants in Fort Collins set up booths. It is a great way to check out a lot of places that we haven't had a chance to try. Of course Tanner's favorite part was the rides. Evan was not a fan and we had to take him of the ferris wheel thing shortly after the ride started. I was so proud of Tanner for doing the bumgee jumping like thing. I thought for sure that he would be too scared but he seemed to love it!

A few weeks ago we said farewell to our 4th wing commander since we have been stationed at F.E. Warren. Tim paticipated in the ceremony so I snapped a shot of he and Tanner to share. We are hoping that this will be our last wing commander here at Warren..... I mean at sometime we need to leave right? :)

My baby turns 2!!

Today!!! Where have the last 2 years went!! Happy Birthday my angel boy!! I am pretty sure the terrible 2's arrived early ..... but we are loving every minute of it all!!!
