TGIF!!!!!

Yippee it is Friday! I am sooo happy about that! Tim and I are headed to Denver tomorrow ( I think). It has been too long since we have gotten out of town. I think we are due a shopping day. On Sunday I think Tim is headed to Caebela's for some hunting gear. Seems that next weekend the boys are headed off to the mountains for some hunting. I wonder what kind of game my hubby will be trying to get me to eat in the next few weeks to come. I am planning Tanner's birthday party ( her turns 3 on 10/7) for the 15th and it will be at the YMCA. I am working on the invites today. Well, my goal is to take some time this weekend and get some pics on here of the family. There are just never enough hours in the day.

I got the following email today and I thought it was a kick in the pants... hope you enjoy!
A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing inthe mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog.Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess.A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. Inthe front room the TV was loudly blaring on a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and variousitems of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the ! fridge doorwas open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door.As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?"She again smiled and answered, "You know every da! y when you come home from work and you ask me what inthe world did I do today?""Yes," was his incredulous reply. She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it." Send this page to another woman.Priceless!!!

PICTURES

Ok... not having luck with this picture thing. I am trying to steal some pics of the family at the Toga party at the Daane's on Sat night. Wait it worked!! Stolen from Sam's blog!!! And you will seeTanner is in Nemo toga.... :) Well, more pics to follow not that I think I figured it out!

NEGATIVE NELLY

Thanks for checking out the blog ladies and being so encouraging. :) I will need to get some pics on here sometime soon. But as for today I am a negative nelly about Cheyenne. As most of you know I am here because my husband is stationed here. I am blessed with awesome friends and a huge support group. Okay enough good stuff onto the bad stuff. It is COLD today and WINDY. I mean WINDY! People back home do not understand wind as a weather condition. I mean you can't even open your door without it blowing back the other way. I miss the beautiful fall weather back home in NJ... with the trees ( trees what are they???) turning colors and all that comes with the season. Yes season we have four of them in NJ. In Cheyenne we have 4 too....winter, winter, winter and 1 week of summer. I miss going pumpkin picking and apple picking on one of the many farms by where I am from. That is what fall means to me. I would love to take the boys on a hayride to pick pumpkins and apples but try as I may I have never been able to find anything like that here. Oh well, C'est la vie. Enough feeling sorry for myself there is so much sadness in the world today and as I said I am truly blessed I have a wonderful, loving supportive husband and Tanner is a great kid... a truly great kid ( if I do say so myself!) . Evan is the easiest baby... he slept from 9:00 last night until 6:30 this morning... what more can I ask of a 12 week old ( he is 12 weeks today!). I have so many great friends here. In fact last night we had a spaghetti dinner to bid farewell to 2 ( Holly and Joe Johnson). They will be missed but I am glad that they will only be in the Springs so I am sure we will see them often. Goodbye is probably the hardest part... but the positive side to that is the more our friends spread out the more places we have to visit... right ;).

Well, this blog things does make me feel better. I wonder if this link will work for Tanner's 3 year old pics we did on Sunday. You may be able to notice the fat lip from running at the Daanes house on Saturday night... running in a toga is not easy.
